“My father was a Kubi Kubi man from the tribe at apple tree creek area. At the age of two, I was adopted out to an Aboriginal family from north Queensland – the Yidinji people from the Babinda boulders. I started painting about 45 yrs ago to preserve the ancestor’s stories that were told us when we were little kids”

In the Dreamtime long ago two boys were lost at sea in a canoe with no water or food. After a few days, the boys heard a noise and saw fish being tossed into their canoe by dolphins. The children’s lives were saved and the friendship between humans and dolphins was begun.
